For over twenty-five years BGW has evolved into a company with a comprehensive range of products.

Just as the name implies we are able to offer glass and windows in about as many combinations as you can imagine.

Many ideas have been nurtured and born from our customer’s needs, from external windows curved in plan and on elevation to items of furniture constructed purely from glass. Innovation has been our lifeblood.

With a turnover in excess of £4,000,000 BGW is big enough to handle most projects but small enough to still consider the customer as a person and not an account number.

This caring philosophy is adopted by all our employees and forms part of the very culture within the Company.

Investment in the latest technology has meant that BGW have been able to consistently monitor and benchmark their performance, ensuring that we remain a leading light within our industry.

In essence the Company has four divisions each operating as an entity but integrating seamlessly with each other to produce the finished article. These divisions are Fenestration, Glass, Glazing and UPVC products.

FENESTRATION supply the commercial market with aluminium products, ranging from single casement windows to multi storey curtain walling.

GLASS as the name implies supplies glass in sorts of thicknesses, finishes and colours. We also manufacture sealed double glazed units, kite marked by BSI to EN 1279 standards, and processed products. Tasks undertaken in this department include polishing or bevelling the edges through to laminating and UV bonding glass or mirror.

GLAZING operates away from our base offering a fitting service for most of the products we produce. Their experience and knowledge in the use of perimeter materials means that the life expectancy of the fitted product is extended and that they will continue to perform to the expected standard.

UPVC concentrates on the housing market, installing windows, doors and conservatories. Our experienced fitting teams have a wealth of experience in the replacement window market.
